A client I had worked with previously returned for further support to bid for a place on a newly created framework. It was essential for the client to gain this place, as the new framework would supersede an existing, standalone contract. The ‘silver lining’ was that the new framework also covered several more schools and associated premises and, if successful, the client would be eligible to provide services to a much larger customer base.

Having worked with the client before, I already had a lot of information about the company and how they worked, which simplified the process. However, as the tender related to services required by nationally renowned education facilities, the bids required a high standard of documentation, providing evidence of codes of conduct, safeguarding processes and emergency issue resolution, as well as quality management and  performance measurement.

The bid was successful and the client was able to not only retain their existing business but also expand across several more facilities covered by the new framework.
