PQQ – NHS Patient Transport Services

 

This well-established taxi service had been providing services to the trust for several years when the contract came up for renewal. Over the years, they had helped the trust develop and strengthen its own policies and processes to ensure safer and more efficient transport for their patients.

However, they had neither the time, nor the experience of writing tender documentation to be confident that they could explain and demonstrate the value of this symbiotic relationship fully, to what was likely to be a team of external evaluators.

I helped them draw on their experience and relationship with the trust to develop a clear narrative of how the relationship had grown over the years, how incremental improvements over that time had benefited the trust and its patients and how the service could be further improved over the coming years.
