Give your views on Government Framework Procurement (SME survey)

The Government Procurement Service is seeking views from SMEs on procurement processes for Framework contracts/agreements:

They say: “The Government wants to ensure that Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) win a greater share of government business.  We are committed to ensuring that SMEs can compete fairly with bigger companies for our contracts.  The purpose of this short questionnaire is to improve our understanding of your market sector, so that we can engage with you more effectively.  Specifically the focus of this study is to better understand SMEs’ views on the Frameworks run by the Government Procurement Service (GPS).

This survey is part of the Government’s commitment to getting full value for money from SME suppliers.  It has set an aspiration that at least 25% of Government spend is flowing to SMEs by the end of this parliament (2015).”

There are also a few handy links within the survey that you might want to check out if you’re thinking of or currently bidding for any government-related contracts/agreements:

I’m interested in your views too – let me know in the comments about your experiences with bidding for Frameworks as an SME
